None of it is true the whole thing was fabricated by a group of academics to fool the world ..I have watched a very revealing documentary which uncovered the truth...the academics responsible for the deception, admitted after some probing, that they had in fact lied. The affair between jesus and mary magdalane never took place and there never were any offspring..it is a brilliant deception ..and I'm very annoyed that I didn't come up with it myself...

I don't think any of it is true. But I'm dying to want to read the book. Just hadn't had the chance to order it.

Although there some facts in it, the most of it is false. It is something that makes you think though. I now can not read romance novels because of this book. I am now wanting to read the rest of his books.
These books are:
Angels And Demons
Digital Fortress
and
Deception Point.

Yes he does, and he's deep. He's also very suspenseful, and I love that. I love what he chooses to write about: the stuff noone wants to talk about. It's awesome. He just.... I can't explain it. All I know is, I hope he keeps up the good work.

I might try it, sounds... really not what religious teaches. It's certainly not in the bibble and won't ever be.

I really enjoyed all of Dan Brown's books! They are all wonderful!
And as for the thing about Mary and Jesus, I don't think we can really say if that is true or false. But as this isn't a religious discusion, I'll shut up there.
But anyhow, I know a lot of people that won't read it because it is so contriversial. In my opinion, that is a bad reason for not reading such a wonderful book!
I think he did a great job of making a book that one can learn a few facts from yet still greatly enjoy.

I haven't listened to the Da Vinci code yet, but I intend to from what I've just read. I have an audiobook version. If anyone wants a copy, pm me your email address and I'll zip it to you.

I don't agree with their views about JEsus Christ, mind you, since I am a christian, but this guy has lots of fantasy I'd say. I have read it before I became a serious christian and I liked it back then. Funnily enough this and another of Dan Brown's book, Angels and Demons, made me consider getting to know God at first. But anyways, it is exciting, just don't agree with the views.

Besides I surely know that this guy is not a christian. Lol. It's crazy to say Jesus had offspring, in my opinion.

I just finished reading this book this afternoon. Great book! I love the suspense of action happened within 1 day, combined with the puzzles and mysteries. I was able to solve a few of the puzzles too! lol While I don't pretend to know the truth about jesus and mary magdelane, this book gave me food for thought. I also loved little facts sprinkled throughout the book, such as the mathematical term phi and its appearances in nature. Also, symbolism captures my interest immensely.
I was thinking about reading digital fortress, if that's the right one, because it also has robert langdon, but the description didn't look that good. But after what people have said on here about his other books, I might reconsider that decision.
Also, as a side note, being a huge harry potter fan, it was great to learn where JK got the word cruciartus from. This book tells about the word cruciarty meaning torture.
I'm sure noone cares much about this, but I love finding out little things like this.
Oh yeah, sorry for the horrible spelling, lol.
